Had it not been for its heritage status and history, i would have given these guys 2 star. Don't get me wrong, Todd Tavern is right in the centre of Alice, has a beautiful bar and serves delicious meals. The staff are nice too. Problem is w/ the lodging facility. Everything at TT is old or is not working. The carpets are worn out and the room i stayed in didn't have a functional window. You can't even prepare coffee or toast. The whole hotel needs an overhaul to best use an excellent location and huge space the pub holds. It is a gold mine for a savvy entrepreneur w/ some cash to splash. Lotsa business potential!

We are here for the Masters games to play softball & came in for a meal & a few drinks. My t bone steak was cooked to perfection & was topped with some yummy prawns & sauce. I'd highly recommend the Todd Tavern as the staff were really friendly too

Been there twice. The first time was for dinner and the food was delicious!! Salad bar so yum I think I had three helpings Went there for lunch last week lookimg forward to a great feed. Ordered the 300g steak medium rare - it was well done and tasted off - did not eat it. Lunch chef needs to go back to chef school. I will not be eating there again.

Booked in for 6 days. Dining room under the pump Thursday night But my Roast Lamb was delivered hot tasty with 4 vegetables and love pumpkin as had skin left on best part all cooked to perfection Salute to chef/ Cook in kitchen. Lass forgot the bread tho.Forgiven this time Work Hotel's/ Clubs many yrs.So understand as quite busy.
