Have never eaten in house but many times delivered and is easily best in Alice Springs.
Excellent food, very friendly staff.....Alec the is a wonderful chef and Sam a wonderful host.
Shocking experience. Asked for delivery at 8:30pm. Delivery rings me at 7:30pm saying that they're at my mum's house, where I had asked the delivery to be sent. Asked the delivery driver to bring it to my house. 15 minutes nothing. Rang restaurant, was assured that the meal would be re-done and delivery would be on time for 8:30pm. Delivery shows up at 8:50pm, cold. Rang restaurant again and asked to speak to manager. "Unavailable". I wanted to speak to someone for a refund, they put the phone down and hung up on me. Tried ringing back twice, went straight through to message bank. Thought they might have been screening my calls, so mum rang in my stead. Manager will be calling me tomorrow (Monday 9th July) apparently. Manager did not ring me today. I rang restaurant again, to be told that it is the manager's day off. I asked when he would be ringing me, the customer service officer on the other end just said that he would. I said that if he doesn't ring me by the end of the week, I'll be pursuing it further. The man on the other end tells me in a petulant manner "You can pursue it further right now!" followed by something I didn't quite catch, and then he hung up on me. Customer service at this place is non-existent, doesn't follow up on customer enquiries, and for a small town with more than one option for Indian cuisine, very poor form.
A little pricey, very nice food though. The waitress was a bit rude but I put this down to her being European. Being served at the table could have been quicker, it wasn't busy (maybe 3 tables), and we waited maybe 30 mins to have our order taken. The waitress clearly hadn't done any proper training in hospitality. A little unprofessional, held all glasses around the top of the rim, that's a big no no. We all know what we do with our own hands don't we. But, the food was good.
Fantastic staff and quality food every time! There hasnt been a fortnight gone by where we dont order from here.
