Saw some wallabies, place was clean and interesting and pretty.
Relaxing walks & most trees & shrubs named,+ a hill to climb to look out
Beautiful quiet friendly visitors and staff. All amenities well maintained gardens and bird life.
A fairly poor and underfunded looking garden, with a few walking tracks including a pleasant walk up the main hill behind the cafe, with wallabies, lizards and kangaroos. Good views from the top and the cafe has good food and is popular with locals. Botanically uninspiring though.
This is a great place to check out the flora and forna of central Australia. It's free and they have organised a nice car park. I wanted to park in the shade and took a couple of minutes finding it.The gardens aren't as you'd find in a big European capital, it's a track ( or more so), several tracks very well done that go in different directions. The plants are absolutely amazing as is the countryside and you'll not find that sort of thing elsewhere. The countryside is absolutely beautiful and you see more and more as you get higher. You cannot go to Alice Springs without visiting the Olive Pink botanic gardens.
