Been trying for several days to get through from Darwin on the phone. Every call (tried several numbers) gets diverted to the emergency line. This is not acceptable firstly because i can't discuss the matter at hand and secondly because it ties up the emergency line with a non-urgent administrative call.
Poor service, they make people come back many times with little mistake and their poor system thats always down! i hope they also do the criminal record check on the counter or maybe build another post office in Alice Springs, the ONE AND ONLY post office cant do it all might as well just shut down.
