Info centre advised us to call in as it was a great display. Walked in, spoke to the girl at reception who welcomed us, advised us to take a look or join the tour which had just started so we did. Great information and displays, really enjoying the experience. Walked with the group but then told we cant proceed any further as were not included. Heard the guy say to the groupOh them there not with us, there just blow ins totally insulted and walked out. Pity, maybe get your info right as its a great location and display.

A free and quick visit in the centre of Alice Springs. Interesting models, skeletons and static displays with some kids drawing and microscope activities. 30-40 minutes is enough to see and read everything, but take time to watch the shadow display.No carnivorous kangaroos were found at the Alcoota site, so no post-visit nightmares.
